Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Clam AntiVirus. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted CHM file that, when processed by the target application, will trigger an error in the 'libmspack' component and cause denial of service conditions on the target system [CVE-2018-14679, CVE-2018-14680].

A remote user can create a specially crafted KWAJ file that, when processed by the target application, will will trigger an error in the 'libmspack' component and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2018-14681].

A remote user can create a specially crafted CHM file that, when processed by the target application, will will trigger an error in the 'libmspack' component and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2018-14682].

Hanno Bock, Jakub Wilk, and Dmitry Glavatskikh reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when processed by the target application, will execute arbitrary code or cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix.
