Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware ESXi. A local user on the guest system can gain elevated privileges on the host system.

A local user on the guest system can run a specially crafted application to read arbitrary memory from a SVGA device on the host system.

Anonymous (via Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can gain elevated privileges on the host system.
Solution:   VMware has issued a fix.
