Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Edge. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-8473, CVE-2018-8509].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error in the Chakra scripting engine and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-8503, CVE-2018-8505, CVE-2018-8510, CVE-2018-8511, CVE-2018-8513].

A remote user can create a specially crafted document that, when processed by the Edge Content Security Policy, will bypass the CSP [CVE-2018-8512].

A remote user can create a specially crafted document that, when loaded, will bypass Same-Origin Policy (SOP) restrictions and allow requests that should otherwise be ignored [CVE-2018-8530

Qixun Zhao of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Lokihardt of Google Project Zero, Lucas Pinheiro - Windows & Devices Group - Operating System Security Team, and Richard Shupak reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the Microsoft Edge software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
