Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information.

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger a missing address check in show_opcodes() to cause potentially sensitive information on the target system to be written to the dmesg log.

Impact:   A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system to be written to the dmesg log.
