Description:   A vulnerability was reported in OpenSSH. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus is affected.

A remote authenticated user can exploit a flaw in the process_open() function in sftp-server when in read-only mode to cause the target service to create zero-length files.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause zero-length files to be created on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix for IBM Spectrum Protect Plus (10.1.2).
