Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Mozilla Firefox ESR. A user can cause the target service to crash. A user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A user that can exploit a separate vulnerability and write to the local cache in the target user's profile directory can cause the browser to crash for target users switching between the Nightly and Release versions of the browser [CVE-2018-12385].

When a master password is set after version 58.0, unencrypted passwords are not deleted [CVE-2018-12383].

Jurgen Gaeremyn and Philipp reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A user can cause the target user's browser to crash.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (ESR 60.2.1).
