Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco WebEx Meetings Server. A local user can gain system privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit a folder permissions error in the Webex Meetings client for Windows to gain system level privileges on the target system.

Cisco Webex Meetings Suite, Webex Meetings, and Webex Meetings Server are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCvh89155, CSCvh89157, and CSCvh89158 to this vulnerability.

Simon Zuckerbraun (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)) and Ben Cheney from DXC Technology separately reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain system privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
