Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Wireshark. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target dissector to crash.

The ISMP dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14344].

Dissectors that use zlib decompression may be affected [CVE-2018-14340].

The ASN.1 BER dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14343].

The MMSE dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14339].

The HTTP2 protocol dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14369].

The CoAP protocol dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14367]. Versions 2.4.x and 2.6.x are affected.

The IEEE 802.11 protocol dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14370]. Versions 2.4.x and 2.6.x are affected.

A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

The Bazaar protocol dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14368].

The BGP dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14342].

The DICOM dissector is affected [CVE-2018-14341].

Jyrki Penttinen, Bill Nickless, and the he OSS-Fuzz project reported some of these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

A remote user can cause the target application to crash.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.2.16, 2.4.8, 2.6.2).
