Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information from system memory.

A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds memory read error in the 'sigevent->sigev_notify' field of show_timer() function in the timer subsystem to obtain potentially sensitive information from system memory on the target system.

Impact:   A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information from system memory on the target system.
Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix.
