Description:
A vulnerability was reported in VMware Horizon. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information from system memory.
A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds memory read error in the Message Framework library to obtain potentially sensitive information from a privileged process running on the target system.
The Horizon Connection Server, Horizon Agent, and Horizon Client are affected.
Horizon Agents on Linux-based systems and Horizon Clients on non-Windows systems are not affected.
Steven Seeley (mr_me) of Source Incite (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

VMware has issued a fix (6.2.7, 7.5.1; Horizon Client 4.8.1).
