Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Drupal. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can supply a specially crafted 'X-Original-URL' or 'X-Rewrite-URL' HTTP header value to override the path in the request URL to potentially bypass access restrictions and cause the target system to render a different URL.

The vulnerability resides in the 3rd party Symfony HttpFoundation component.

Michael Cullum reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass URL-based access controls on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.5.6).
