Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM WebSphere MQ. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can send messages containing specially crafted headers to the target RCVR or CLUSRCVR type channels to cause the system to enter retry status and cause transmission of subsequent messages to fail.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause transmission of subsequent messages to fail.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (8.0.0.10, 9.0.0.4). For version 7.x, an interim fix for IT24235 is available.
