Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Security Identity Manager Virtual Appliance. A remote authenticated user can upload files to the target system.

A remote authenticated user can upload files with potentially dangerous file types to the target system that may be automatically processed on the target system.

Ron Craig, Warren Moynihan, Jonathan Fitz-Gerald, John Zuccato, Rodney Ryan, Chris Shepherd, and Dmitriy Beryoza of the IBM X-Force Ethical Hacking Team reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can upload files to the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (7.0.1.7-ISS-SIM-IF0001).
