Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware ESXi. A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on their guest system.

A local user on a guest system can trigger a null pointer dereference in the RPC handler and cause their virtual machine to crash.

Hahna Latonick and Kevin Fujimoto (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on their guest system.
Solution:   VMware has issued a fix.
