Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware Workstation/Fusion. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on their virtual machine.

A local user on a guest system can trigger a null pointer dereference in the RPC handler and cause their virtual machine to crash.

Hahna Latonick and Kevin Fujimoto (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on their virtual machine.
Solution:   VMware has issued a fix (Fusion 10.1.2; Workstation 14.1.2).
