Description:   A vulnerability was reported in F5 BIG-IP. A remote user can cause DNS cache data to persist on the target system.

A remote user can send a stream DNS requests for an address in the cache. If the authoritative parent nameserver revokes the record, the target BIG-IP server will continue to serve responses for that address.

The vendor has assigned ID 582773 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause DNS cache data to persist on the target system.
Solution:   F5 has issued a fix (11.5.7, 11.6.3.2, 12.1.3, 13.0.0 HF1, 13.1.0).
