Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Windows Mail client. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted email that, when opened by the target user, will trigger a flaw in the processing of embedded URLs and initiate a connection to a remote server, disclosing the IP address of the target user's system.

Jens Muller reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain the target user's IP address.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
