Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in several Microsoft Windows services. A remote or local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted packets to the target FTP Server on TCP port 21 to cause the target system to stop responding [CVE-2018-8206].

A remote DNS server can return specially crafted DNS responses to the target system to trigger a flaw in the Windows Domain Name System (DNS) ('DNSAPI.dll') and prevent users from accessing system resources [CVE-2018-8304].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an object memory handling error and cause the target system to stop responding [CVE-2018-8309].

Brandon Falk (@gamozolabs) of the Enterprise Team, Nick Freeman, and Axel Souchet (@0vercl0k) of MSRC Vulnerabilities and Mitigations Team reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote or local user can cause the target system to stop responding.

A remote user can prevent users from accessing system resources.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
