Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Palo Alto PAN-OS. A remote authenticated user can obtain hashed passwords on the target system.

A remote authenticated administrator user can modify HTML markup on the management web interface to obtain GlobalProtect password hashes of local users.

Bill Chaison from GCI Inc. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated administrator user can obtain hashed passwords on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (6.1.21, 7.1.17, 8.0.9, and 8.1.1).
