Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM DB2. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit an untrusted path flaw in DB2 when loading libraries to potentially execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

Instance owner executables that run with elevated privileges (setuid) are affected.

Root setuid executables are not affected.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (APARS IT24474, IT24475, IT24476, IT24477).
