Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in VMware Workstation and Fusion. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information. VMware ESXi is affected.

A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds memory read error in the shader translator to obtain potentially sensitive information or cause their virtual machine to crash.

A member of Cisco Talos and RanchoIce of Tencent ZhanluLab reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:  
A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Solution:   VMware has issued a fix for VMware ESXi (ESXi670-201806401-BG).
