Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for Windows Desktop. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user can send a specially crafted request to the application to trigger an input validation flaw in 'vpnva-6.sys' (32-bit Windows) and 'vpnva64-6.sys' (64-bit Windows) and cause denial of service conditions.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvj47654 to this vulnerability.

Gert Doering at OpenVPN and Cesar Cerrudo, Ilja van Sprundel, and Enrique Nissim from IOActive reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
