Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Wide Area Application Services. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user with super user privileges (level 15) can replace a script file with arbitrary scripting code while the Disk Check Tool 'disk-check.sh' is running to gain root privileges on the target system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvi72673 to this vulnerability.

Aaron Blair from RIoT Solutions in Brisbane, Australia reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user with super user privileges (level 15) can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
