Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Unified IP Phone. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

The system does not provide flow-control mechanisms for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) packet processing. A remote user can send high volumes of SIP INVITE messages to disrupt services on the target device.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCve10064, CSCve14617, CSCve14638, CSCve14683, CSCve20812, CSCve20926, and CSCve20945 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can disrupt services on the target device.
Solution:   No solution was available at the time of this entry.

The vendor does not plan to issue a fix.
