Description:   A vulnerability was reported in McAfee VirusScan Enterprise. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit a flaw in 'McTray.exe' to view potentially sensitive configuration information and gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The Lockheed Martin Red Team and the Lockheed Martin EDP Team reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   McAfee has issued a fix (Enterprise 8.8 Patch 11).
