Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Outlook. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted email that, when opened by the target user, will access potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2018-8160].

A remote user can send a specially crafted document file to bypass the Outlook attachment block filter on the target system [CVE-2018-8150].

Jens Muller of Ruhr-University Bochum reported one vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
