Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-0955].
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-8114, CVE-2018-8122]. This can be exploited via an embedded ActiveX control marked "safe for initialization" in an application or Microsoft Office document that hosts the Internet Explorer (IE) rendering engine. Version 11 is affected.
A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will bypass Device Guard User Mode Code Integrity (UMCI) policies on the target user's system [CVE-2018-8126]. Version 11 is affected.
Matt Nelson (@enigma0x3) of SpecterOps and Yuki Chen of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team reported these vulnerabilities.
