Description:   A vulnerability was reported in F5 BIG-IP. A local user on the vCMP guest system can cause denial of service conditions on other guest systems.

A local root user on a vCMP guest system that is operating in "host-only" or "bridged" mode can cause the vcmpd process on other vCMP guest systems on the host to restart.

The vendor has assigned IDs 589233, 688516, and 693312 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local root user on the vCMP guest system can cause the vcmpd process on other vCMP guest systems on the host to restart.
Solution:   F5 has issued a fix (12.1.3.4, 13.1.0.6).
