Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux kernel. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user can trigger a null pointer dereference in the unimac_mdio_probe() function in 'drivers/net/phy/mdio-bcm-unimac.c' to cause a kernel panic on the target system.

Impact:   A local user can cause a kernel panic on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a source code fix [in January 2018], available at:
