Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Oracle VM VirtualBox. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system. A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. A local user can access and modify data on the target system.

A local user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle VM VirtualBox Core component to gain elevated privileges [CVE-2018-2830, CVE-2018-2835, CVE-2018-2836, CVE-2018-2837, CVE-2018-2842, CVE-2018-2843, CVE-2018-2844, CVE-2018-2860].

A local user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle VM VirtualBox Core component to partially access data, partially modify data, and deny service [CVE-2018-2845].

A local user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle VM VirtualBox Core component to partially access data [CVE-2018-2831].

Reno Robert, Vasily Vasiliev of Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative, Niklas Baumstark (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), and Roman Fiedler of Austrian Institute of Technology reported these vulnerabilities.
