Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will obtain potentially sensitive information on the target user's system [CVE-2018-0987, CVE-2018-0989, CVE-2018-0981, CVE-2018-1000].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-0988, CVE-2018-0996, CVE-2018-1001]. This can also be exploited via an embedded ActiveX control marked 'safe for initialization' in an application or Microsoft Office document hosting the Internet Explorer (IE) rendering engine.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2018-0991, CVE-2018-0997, CVE-2018-0870, CVE-2018-1018, CVE-2018-1020].

Yuki Chen of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Anonymous (via Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative), Wei of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Genwei Jiang of FireEye, Inc, and hungtt28 of Viettel Cyber Security reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
