Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Cisco IOS and IOS XE. A remote user can cause the target system to reload.

A remote DHCP relay agent can return DHCPv4 packets with specially crafted DHCP option 82 data to trigger a heap overflow and cause the target system to reload [CVE-2018-0172].

A remote DHCP server can return DHCPv4 DHCPOFFER messages with specially crafted DHCP option 82 data to trigger an error and cause the target system to reload [CVE-2018-0173].

A remote DHCP relay agent can return DHCPv4 packets with specially crafted DHCP option 82 data to trigger an input validation flaw and cause the target system to reload [CVE-2018-0174].

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCvg62730, CSCvg62754, and CSCuh91645 to these vulnerabilities.

Tenable reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target system to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
