Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 2960-L and Digital Building Series switches. A remote authenticated user can cause the target system to reload.

A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted SNMP request for the ciscoFlashMIB object ID (OID) to trigger a SYS-3-CPUHOG error condition and cause the target system to restart.

The following models are affected:

Catalyst 2960-L Series Switches

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvd89541 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target system to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
