Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Cisco IOS XE. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user with user EXEC mode privileges (level 1 privileges) can send command line interface commands with specially crafted arguments to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCtw85441, CSCtw85441CSCus42252, CSCus42252CSCuv95370, and CSCuv95370 to these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
