Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Dell EMC NetWorker. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow in the 'nsrd' daemon and cause denial of service conditions for users of NetWorker systems.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.2.4.11, 9.1.1.6, 9.2.1.1; Advisory DSA-2018-037).
