Version(s): 9.7 and before
Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Connect. A remote user can delete files on the target system. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

A remote user can exploit a command injection flaw in the Adobe Connect URI handler to delete arbitrary files on the target system or uninstall the application [CVE-2018-4923]. Windows-based systems are affected.

The software does not properly restrict SWF file uploads [CVE-2018-4921]. A remote user can exploit this to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will originate from the site running the Adobe Connect software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

Ciaran McNally and rgod reported these vulnerabilities.
