Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache CXF. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted message attachment header to cause denial of service conditions on the target CSF web service provider.

JAX-WS and JAX-RS services are affected.

Wang, Shixiang (Kevin) from Nokia reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target CSF web service provider.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.1.14, 3.2.1) [in November 2017].
