Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Windows Embedded OpenType Font Engine. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A local user can open a document containing specially crafted fonts to trigger a parsing error in the Microsoft Windows Embedded OpenType (EOT) font engine and obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2018-0755, CVE-2018-0855]. Versions 7 SP1 and 2008 R2 SP1 are affected.

A local user can open a document containing specially crafted fonts to trigger a parsing error in the Microsoft Windows Embedded OpenType (EOT) font engine and obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system [CVE-2018-0760, CVE-2018-0761].

kdot (via Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative) and Hossein Lotfi, Secunia Research at Flexera Software, reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
