Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Small Business RV132W/RV134W routers. A remote user can obtain the administrator password on the target system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Certain web interface pages do not require authentication to access. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to view potentially sensitive configuration parameters, including the administrator password.


The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCvg92739 and CSCvh60172 to this vulnerability.

An independent security researcher (via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure program) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain the administrator password on the target system.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive configuration parameter information on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
