Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A remote user on the local network can cause the target system to reload.

A remote user on the local network can send a specially crafted pong request from a location on the target network that will cause the reply packet to egress both a FabricPath port and a non-FabricPath port to trigger a memory free error and cause the dual or quad supervisor virtual port-channel (vPC) to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuv98660 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can cause the target system to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
