Description:   A vulnerability was reported in McAfee Network Security Manager. A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges.

A remote authenticated user can supply a specially crafted HTTP request parameter to exploit a flaw in the web interface and gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Tomasz Klicki from COMP S.A. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.3.7.64, 9.1.7.11) [disclosed in November 2017].
