Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in QNAP Storage Devices. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A security researcher from TRUEL IT (via Beyond Security's SecuriTeam Secure Disclosure program) and security researcher @nervoir (via Trend Micro Zero-Day Initiative) reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (4.2.6 build 20171208, build 20171205, (Beta 3) build 20171208).
