Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A local user can bypass security restrictions.

A local administrator user can bypass signature verification when loading a software image and load a specially crafted unsigned image on the target system.

The following Nexus series devices are affected:

7000 Series Switches
7700 Series Switches

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCvf25045 and CSCvf31495 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can bypass software image signature verification on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
