Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in the Windows Kernel. A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information. A local user can obtain elevated privileges.

A local user can run a specially crafted application or open a specially crafted font file to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A memory address initialization error may occur [CVE-2017-11831, CVE-2017-11842, CVE-2017-11849, CVE-2017-11853, CVE-2017-11880].

An embedded font parsing error may occur in the Embedded OpenType (EOT) font engine [CVE-2017-11832, CVE-2017-11835].

An object memory handling error may occur in Win32k [CVE-2017-11851].

An object memory handling error may occur in the Microsoft Windows Graphics Component [CVE-2017-11850, CVE-2017-11852].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code with kernel level privileges on the target system [CVE-2017-11847].

Wayne Low (@x9090) of Fortinet's FortiGuard Lab, Marcin Wiazowski (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), Georgios Baltas of MSRC Vulnerabilities & Mitigations Team, nyaacate of Viettel Cyber Security (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), @fanxiaocao and pjf of IceSword Lab, Qihoo 360, Team 'Pwn4Fun' from Best of the Best ( BOB ), and Mateusz Jurczyk of Google Project zero reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
