Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS/IOS XE. A remote user can cause the target system to reload.

A remote user can send specially crafted Internet Key Exchange Version 2 (IKEv2) packets to the target system to cause excessive CPU consumption on the target system, trigger traceback messages, or cause the target system to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCvc12306 and CSCvc41277 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause excessive CPU consumption, trigger traceback messages, or cause the target system to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
