Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XE on Cisco Catalyst Switch. A remote user can cause the target system to restart.

A remote user on the local network can submit a specially crafted association request to trigger an input validation flaw in the target wireless controller manager and cause the switch to restart.

Systems configured as wireless LAN controllers (WLC) are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvd45069 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target system to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
