Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XE. A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges.

The web user interface creates new user accounts with incorrect permissions. A remote authenticated user can create a new user account and then login to the new user account to gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Systems with the HTTP Server feature enabled are affected.

The vulnerability was introduced in version 16.2.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuy83062 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
