Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 4000 Series Switch. A remote user can bypass access controls on the target system.

A remote user on the local network can trigger an error condition in the reassignment of the auth-default-ACL dynamic access control list (ACL) to a switch port to cause the port to fail in the open condition. As a result, the remote user can pass traffic to the default VLAN for the affected switch port.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvc72751 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can bypass port access controls on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
