Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Struts. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted URL data to an application that accepts a user-provided URL in a form field and that processes the URL with the built-in URLValidator to overload the server process during validation.

Jonathan Bullock reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can temporarily overload the server process.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.5.12).
