Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Oracle Retail Applications. A remote user can gain elevated privileges on the target system. A remote user can access and modify data on the target system.

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service Point of Sale component to gain elevated privileges [CVE-2017-10183].

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service Xstore Office component to access and partially modify data [CVE-2017-10214].

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle Retail Open Commerce Platform Framework component to partially access and partially modify data [CVE-2017-10172].

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the Oracle Retail Open Commerce Platform Website component to partially modify data [CVE-2017-10173].

Impact:   A remote user can obtain data on the target system.

A remote user can modify data on the target system.

A remote user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix as part of the July 2017 Oracle Critical Patch Update.
